PIMA PRESSURE EVENT- STOWELINK BIGEST EVENT YET P1.

Stowelink on 29th May 2018 in collaboration with Amref Health Africa in Kenya, KUPSA and KUPHESU today conducted their biggest event yet.

The event was divided into 3 sub events, a Morning Sensitization Walk.we tested over 300 people in a period of 3 hours. and reached more people during the walks and the hea;lth talks which was conducted by Mr Joram from amref alongside stowelink presenters and the kenyatta university school of public health.​

A FREE BLOOD PRESSURE TESTING AND COUNSELLING SESSION screening over ​360 + people​. The screening was testing done by KU School of Public Health Students and Stowelink members under supervision of Amref Health Africa in Kenya.

Finally a health education session done Amref Health Africa in Kenya representative and a Stowelink Representative.

The main aim of the event was creation of sensitization and awareness on hypertension and cardiovascular diseases while also joining the world in marking the May Measurement Month programme an initiative to let people get their blood pressure checked. The event also marked the climax of Myheart Ke project by Stowelink which is a cardiovascular health and awareness programme.
