World stroke day 2018 saw a lot of speakers conduct trainings briefly on stroke addressing the various aspects of stroke. Some of the most profound topics during stroke day included Stroke And Neurology, Stroke And Cancer, Nutrition And Stroke And Stroke And The Youth. these presentations were focused on coming up with solutions and interventions to prevent stroke.
The chairperson stroke association of Kenya actively and passionately talked about the FAST signs of stroke educating the mases what you need to know when handling such. The importance of acting fast was also emphasized at it was noted that this could actually change lives in terms of the recovery after stroke.
We managed to train 315 people during this training and as a result made more people equipped with the right knowledge on stroke and how to prevent it. Our assignment to you the reader would be, do you know the signs of stroke??
