Stowelink founder and CEO while in attendance at the one young world had a great opportunity to address the world leaders on developing sustainable youth project. This was one golden opportunity which Ogweno Stephen received on one of the panels on planetary health where he talked about Stowelink and about how they were able to raise projects which were sustainable and which have reached to over 2.5 million people without any donor funding. The lessons on sustainability from a young people standpoint are critical in developing sustainable projects which are youth led and I was honored o share our Stowelink story and lessons we have learnt on sustainability.
We also were honored to present at the resolution fellowship which was a side event at one young world. The Resolution Social Venture Challenge (SVC) is a multi-step competition designed to inspire undergraduate students to propose impactful, socially-responsible projects (Ventures) addressing pressing social issues around the world. We host our SVCs at conferences that serve broad communities of university students. We then invite young leaders attending these host conferences to submit their ideas tackling an issue important to them. We made our presentation on the drug free youth project and it was an hour presenting at this global platform.
