World Stroke Day is observed on October 29 to underscore the serious nature and high rates of stroke, raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of the condition, and ensure better care and support for survivors but the national celebration of this day was postponed to 14th November which also happened to be world diabetes day. World Diabetes Day is the primary global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes mellitus and is held on 14 November each year.
