International youth day is a day that recognizes excellence, fortitude, resilience, creativity and color that the youth bring to the continent. On this day celebrated each year on the 12th of august we are reminded of the exemplary work that has been done by young people across the globe to make a world a better place. From the global movements led by youth top the local initiatives creating impact here at Stowelink we would want to appreciate all youth engaging in positive transformational works across the globe.

On this day we would also like to appreciate deeply our NCDs youth champions. Together with the team at Stowelink, these are young people who have lived experiences with non-communicable diseases and who have acted as caregivers to parents living with non-communicable diseases. We would like to deeply appreciate every young person living with NCDs ,taking care of someone living with NCDs, educating people on NCDs and their risk factors and all the young people in the hospitals taking care of and saving lives of these people. We appreciate you, we value you and we applaud you for your resilience and strength.

More than that we would like to thank all the other categories of youths, these are old people, caregivers, community health workers and members of the society who have decided that age will not dim their youthfulness. All the elderly who support the youth, who support our initiatives and who continue to innovatively make this world a better place. We appreciate you for without you, our progress is limited. On this day on the international youth day we would like to say to all youths out there, KEEP MOVING, KEEP IMPACTING KEEP TRANSFORMING AND EMPOWERING LIVES BECAUSE,THE MOVEMENT IS ON!

Lets change lives

Let’s save lives
