Empowering Ambassadors at Kenyatta University: Stowelink Continues to Bridge the Gap Between NCDs and Climate Change

At Stowelink, we are committed to fostering awareness and understanding of the intricate relationship between non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and climate change. Through our ongoing partnership with AstraZeneca, we are proud to announce the continuation of our groundbreaking project aimed at training ambassadors to become advocates for health and sustainability.

Following the success of our initial training program, we recently conducted a follow-up session at Kenyatta University, where a cohort of passionate individuals delved deeper into the nexus between NCDs and climate change. Led by our team of experts, the training provided participants with invaluable insights into the environmental factors contributing to the rise of NCDs and the interconnectedness of these issues.

As part of the program, ambassadors gained a comprehensive understanding of how lifestyle choices, environmental pollution, and climate variability impact public health outcomes. Armed with this knowledge, they are now equipped to educate their communities on the importance of adopting sustainable practices to mitigate the risk of NCDs and combat climate change.

The training session also served as a platform for ambassadors to share their experiences and exchange ideas on effective advocacy strategies. By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, we aim to amplify the impact of our collective efforts in driving positive change.

We are immensely grateful to AstraZeneca for their unwavering support in empowering communities to tackle the dual challenges of NCDs and climate change. Together, we are paving the way for a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

Stay tuned for updates on our ambassadors’ initiatives and the impactful work they are undertaking to promote health and environmental sustainability in their communities.
