Who We Are
Stowelink Foundation | Advancing Health. Empowering Communities.
Stowelink Foundation is a youth-led, pan-African public health organization driving bold, innovative, and inclusive solutions to today’s biggest health challenges. Founded in Kenya and now active across Africa, we specialize in preventing and managing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by working at the intersection of health education, technology, advocacy, and research.

Our Story
Stowelink was born from lived experience. Our founder, Ogweno Stephen, overcame childhood obesity—an experience that inspired him to challenge how health is perceived, accessed, and addressed in African communities.
What began as a grassroots awareness initiative has grown into an award-winning foundation, transforming health systems through digital innovation, strategic advocacy, and youth-driven action. Today, Stowelink operates in 15+ countries, engages thousands of young advocates, and has impacted over 3 million people.
WHAT WE DO
Since 2016, we’ve worked with 80+ partners to deliver practical, community-first programs across 10 African countries through grassroots public health campaigns, health innovation and research, and policy advocacy across Africa maximizing impact with minimal cost, ensuring lasting change.
