STOWELINK TRAINING OF TRAINERS SESSIONS AT KENYATTA UNIVERSITY

One of the more interesting projects we tasked ourselves to do is to educate and train one hundred trainers who would help us train in our various counties tours and even spread the word to their communities and villages back at home.

We have been doing these training in Kenyatta University and are developing a curriculum in which our trainees will be taught on before they graduate to becoming trainers. We will focus on key topics and diseases including

• Cardiovascular diseases
• Cancers
• Sexual and gender based issues
• Healthy lifestyle and well living.

Hopefully we will also be inviting a few organizations to come along and also provide talks and trainings on these topics with the main aim of raising a generation of youths well informed and equipped with information on non-communicable diseases to be able to help themselves and beyond that able to support the communities they came from with this information
Also to prepare the individuals for the cooperate market especially those training in public health and community health.
