Stowelink attends and presents at the Universal Health Care Conference in Nyeri (part 2) WHAT CAN THE YOUTH DO?

What can the youth do to achieve the universal health care coverage? What can the youth do to prevent and eliminate non communicable diseases? These formed some of the key question that we seeked to answer at the conference and hopefully see them implemented.

We discovered that the youth play very key roles in achieving the UHC and this can be summarized in the following points
1. Youth have the required energy to be able to conduct community work and actively spread the messages on UHC
2. Youth can be able to effectively reach fellow youth who form a vulnerable group in terms of health and well being

3. Youths are more innovative and Kreative and can develop technologies to make health more accessible and easily understandable.
4. Youth led organizations are doing things in a slightly different way and can be able to make more change in the society using new disruptive thinking and community action.

And at Stowelink we strongly reflect these characteristics and we are hopefully that one day we will get to a healthy nation, and an NCD free society.
