Stowelink was privileged to attend the NCDS media breakfast organized by the non-communicable diseases alliance of Kenya. During the media breakfast we cumulatively got the message on non-communicable diseases out in the media creating and raising awareness on non-communicable diseases. Stowelink was represented by Ogweno Stephen and Harison Ayallo who were also representing the youth voices on non-communicable diseases. The meeting emphasized on the importance of achieving vision 2020 for NCDSS in Kenya and the global vision 2030 .
During the meeting non communicable diseases alliance of Kenya also launched the Fafanuka platform which is a platform to create awareness on non-communicable diseases using the SMS platform. This is a great move to help change the perspective in terms of providing the right information on non-communicable diseases.
Its trough such forums that we have learn dang got inspired to continue pushing on because at Stowelink we are deemed for greatness as or main goal still remains transforming and empowering lives.
