INFO4FOOD GOES THROUGH EFSOYC TRAINING IN PREPARATION FOR A 7-MONTH PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PHASE.

Stowelink’s project info4food was one of the winning projects at the ENHANCING FOOD SECURITY THROUGH OUTREACH YOUTH CHAMPIONS PROJECT. This means that Info4food will now be implemented in Githurai area for the next 7 months. The project aims at improving food security and reducing through value addition across the food chain ensuring preservation of fruits and vegetable as a result ensuring availability of health nutritious foods and as a result solving poor diet and malnutrition which is one of the 4 biggest risk factors to NCDS.

Through this project we will be able to solve SDG 2 on zero hunger and SDG 3 on Good Health and Well Being. The project brings with it a new innovation from Stowelink, the INFO4FOOD DRYER which is a low cost effective innovation of solving food wastage through drying. With this project we not only are going to empower the communities we are also going to transform and empower lives.
