Stowelink under their school clubs called the Kreative hubs which are spread across 4 universities has started the training for NCDS outreach youth champions in Kenyatta university. The training that began a few weeks ago begun on a high gear with major focus and emphasis on making non communicable diseases literacy a thing of the past. As Kreative hub we are glad to continue in our quest to train outreach youth champions in school clubs in a bid to improve NCDS literacy among young people who eventually have to train their communities on the same.
The training started with introductions on what NCDS are and what are the risk factors of NCDS. this programme was highly supported by the content developed in the recent Stowelink project NCDS 365. More than that we have also at Stowelink used the mCure app to help the new cohorts learn more about NCDS. this helps them get more knowledge in easy and understandable formats and language. We continue to push forward and we are glad that the movement keeps growing. We are NCDS youth champions, impacting change across communities through improving NCDS literacy.
