In an incredible event that also doubled up as the annual meeting for the members of the NCD alliance of Kenya, Stowelink joined the alliance on celebrating its 10 years in advocating for non-communicable diseases. Stowelink is privileged to have joined and worked with the alliance for 7 of the 10 years that it has been in existence making us one of the oldest members but also the first membership organization in the alliance that supported NCDs and young people initiatives.
As a youth led, youth focused organization, Stowelink continues to celebrate the work that the NCD alliance of Kenya has had in supporting its work in the NCDs space in Kenya. The NCDAK has been a pivotal institution that has ensured that young people s issues are constantly represented and advocated for at local and international levels. At Stowelink we will continue to work with the NCD alliance of Kenya to ensure that the youth agenda in conversations on NCDs are well represented.
