Members of the Stowelink executive joined other young leaders and alumni of the YALI Regional Leadership Centre East Africa at the YALI Homecoming Ceremony 2023 in Kenyatta University.
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) was launched by former President of the United States Barack Obama as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. There are four Regional Leadership Centers, that is: Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, and South Africa.
The YALI RLC EA is located at Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya and serves 14 countries in East and Central Africa. Leaders in the program are trained on tracks such as Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership and Public Management.

The program has had about 4,980 Alumni who are inspirational leaders and changemakers in their countries. YALI Homecoming was an opportunity for alumni across countries, cohorts and tracks to reconnect, network and reminisce their time at YALI RLC EA while interacting with partners and other invited guests.

Stowelink was represented by the CEO Stephen Ogweno, CPO Oduor Kevin and ERO Naila Chebet who were part of YALI in different cohorts. The leadership opportunity has greatly contributed to the growth of the team.
