The 21st Project, a visionary initiative, is propelling forward into its exciting Phase 2. In this phase, the project aims to mobilize a community of young advocates known as the “Twenty-firsts.” These passionate individuals will acquire a profound understanding of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and climate change. The approach involves engaging them in innovative and creative activities, focusing on harnessing the co-benefit solutions that emerge from addressing NCDs and climate change in tandem.

Recently launched, Phase 2 is a dynamic stage that involves reaching out to higher education institutions. This endeavor is designed to establish robust partnerships with these institutions, enabling collaboration on the critical issues of NCDs and climate change. The cornerstone of this phase is the “train the trainer” sessions, a novel approach. These sessions will empower selected student representatives from these educational institutions with the knowledge and skills needed to implement the project effectively.

The 21st Project is not just about raising awareness; it’s about fostering a new generation of leaders who recognize the interconnection between NCDs and climate change. With innovative activities, strategic partnerships, and empowering the youth to take charge, this initiative is at the forefront of driving positive change in the spheres of health and the environment. Stay tuned as Phase 2 unfolds, marking another significant step in the journey of NCDs and climate change advocacy.
