At Stowelink Foundation, every collaboration, every engagement, and every training session signifies a step forward in our mission to empower and enlighten. This time, our journey led us to Multimedia University, where we had the privilege of working alongside the Environment and Health Club members. Together, we embarked on a transformative voyage, armed with the knowledge to combat non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by taking meaningful climate change action.

The significance of this link between climate change and NCDs is gaining clarity among young minds in higher learning institutions throughout Kenya. This newfound awareness is a testament to the impact of our AstraZeneca-funded project, aptly named “The 21st.”
As we stand at the intersection of climate change and NCDs, we understand that the challenges and vulnerabilities faced by our society require innovative solutions. The students at Multimedia University, now equipped with the knowledge and understanding of this vital link, have a pivotal role to play in shaping the future. They are the champions, the advocates, and the torchbearers who will carry this knowledge forward.

In an era when NCD cases are surging, when climate change’s influence is undeniable, and when the health of our planet is intrinsically tied to the health of our people, the need for action is greater than ever. We, together with these bright minds, share the commitment to address these challenges and inspire meaningful change. This collaboration is more than just a training; it’s a collective endeavor to create a healthier, more sustainable future.

With every training session, we sow the seeds of knowledge, awareness, and empowerment, ensuring that the leaders of tomorrow are equipped to make a difference. The link between climate change and NCDs is becoming clearer, and the path to a healthier, more sustainable world is being illuminated, one training session at a time.
