About AHAIC

The Africa Health Agenda International Conference (AHAIC) is a biennial event that brings together key stakeholders from across the world to address pressing health challenges in Africa. Launched by Amref Health Africa, AHAIC serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration among governments, health organizations, the private sector, and civil society. This year’s conference, themed “Connected for Change: Addressing Socio-Ecological Dynamics of Health,” convened over 1,000 participants from diverse regions, including Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, India, Canada, the UK, and the US. It was an inspiring opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on the present and future of Africa’s health sector and explore pathways toward equitable healthcare access.

AHAIC Youth Summit

On March 2, 2025, young changemakers gathered at the Kigali Convention Centre for an action-driven Youth Summit. The summit provided a dynamic space for young leaders to interact with trailblazers who are shaping Africa’s health landscape. Key highlights included:
