myHeart_KE KISUMU COUNTY TOUR-XAVERIAN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Hello there we once again took it to the schools as this time round we visited Xaverian Primary School. Well you know you could expect that we really did well with the students and for sure we didn’t disappoint. The team this time round was bigger and better. The reception into this school was warm. (oooh n by the way this was my former school)

The students here were so ready to learn they were so sharp and asked a lot of questions. Well their experience only gets better, I felt really contented and satisfied that in the end we had done an amazing job. 

Well I carried up a follow up after the successful event to inquire on what the students remembered and I was so glad that the health ambassadors we left in this school actually remembered a lot and had developed a lot of interest in practicing a healthy lifestyle.

We talked about cardiovascular health and preventive approaches which formed a major part of the presentation we had, besides that we also talked about gender based violence and life skills. The interaction with the students here was so lively and the students were very inquisitive something I really love about students

On this day we also had our photography done by one talented photographer @jimdy.loul. He covered the event gracefully and photo credits of the next six blog posts are his.
