Stowelink’s current partnership with the Kukachora clubs programme led the team to the coast in search of the non-communicable diseases youth champions. We are Stowelink carried out a series of trainings at 3 colleges in the coast including the KMTC Msambweni,KMTC Mombasa and Mombasa Aviation College. During these visits we talked about why the youth are critical in the fight against non-communicable diseases and encouraged youth participation engagement and innovation in the non-communicable diseases space.
We will be conducting a nationwide event with the 20 Kitu ni Kukachora colleges across the country in a bid to launch a national drive, the non-communicable diseases youth champions. We strongly believe we can change the non-communicable diseases space for the better and that we the youth have the innovation and the energy that it takes to beat non-communicable diseases!
