MyHeart_Ke X World Stroke Day Kenyatta University Chapter

Stowelink Inc has been carrying out sensitization events on cardiovascular health each time growing and growing in audiences and in skills.this time round Stowelink Inc in conjunction with the stroke association of Kenya (SAOK) and Kenyatta university school of public health under the department of population health organized one major event.

GUEST CARDIOLOGISTS FROM MALAWI AND LIBERIA.

The event dubbed myHeart_Ke Nairobi tour and also the world stroke day Kenyatta university involved a lot of activities and had an international impact. the event had been graced by two experienced international facilitators and cardiologists from Malawi and Liberia.The two together with Stowelinks’ own facilitators ,Mr Ogweno, Mr Olulo and Mr Felix Ochieng managed to train 140 individuals who we will be using in our subsequent Nairobi,Kiambu and Mombasa counties.

This to us was one of our biggest achievements because as opposed to the sensitization forums we had had before in this forum we were actually training trainers to help us in spreading the word. this to us is just the beginning of great things to follow.

It was also an eye opening and graceful moment when the representatives from the stroke association of Kenya rose up to talk to the trainees.we had been blessed to actually host two strong willed and strong characterized stroke survivors. When they addressed the trainers thee will to spread the message on cardiovascular health and on stroke increased more and more.The stroke association of Kenya brought the life into the theory of our session thus empowering strongly the participants of the event.We really want to thank them for gracing the event and for making it a huge success.
